About
Who I am
I'm a CPA and I run Arman CPAs & Advisors, a family firm with offices in New York City and Long Island and clients across the country. My father and I are the registered CPA owners.
I didn't start here. I worked at KPMG and Deloitte before coming to the firm. Big Four audit puts you inside other people's businesses one after another, close enough to see where the money actually comes from and how differently two companies in the same industry can run. You stop believing the P&L is the business. That is the view I brought back, and it is why the work here starts with what a company actually runs on.
Over the past few years I've taken the firm from under ten people to more than thirty, including fifteen advisors. I moved the whole practice onto one system, built an AI and automation division inside it, and rebuilt how the work actually runs.
I'm also part-time in the JD program at St. John's Law, where I'm a Dean's Scholar. The decisions that matter most to an owner sit on legal ground: how the business is structured, how owners are paid, what a contract commits them to, what happens when it changes hands. Reading that ground myself is what lets the advisory work reach the decision instead of stopping at the filing.
